Reasons Why Faith Positively Alters Spiritual Healing
“If I am not for myself, who is for me?” This is the question asked by countless mothers when their own children turn against them and profess Christ as their savior, yet refuse to follow his teachings. Jesus teaches us that we are all for ourselves.
He teaches that what we give our kids in life decides if they will become successful in life or become a failure. If we’re not one with our Father in Christ, then he doesn’t reign in our lives, but teaches us to be one with him. One might have implied that this is a pessimistic view of religion. It’s not, for I submit to you that there is hardly a church now that does not have a group of hymns sung in praise of Jesus. Or a group of prayers given daily to God. Or a selection of Christian songs to praise the almighty and express the wonder of our great love for our Creator. In reality every word of God from the New Testament is an expression of religion.
Faith can be found in the works of many false teachers. A false teacher may teach that religion is a matter of blind belief with no personal relationship to God. Such teachers are dangerous since they replace the sincere understanding of God with intellectual understanding of their own faith. The end result is the loss of religion. The person soon becomes a sinner and loses the real hope for eternal life with God. A person doesn’t become a follower of Christ, until he has a true grasp of Him and knows what Christ truly means to this person.
Not only do false teachers distort the meaning of the Bible, but they contradict the plain meaning of God’s Word. Every word of God says that faith is of God and is not of man. Romans 12:3 declares that, in today, every man is given the measure of faith.
What this signifies is that, while man lives, religion is yet to be found. Man lives in faith, but faith is not yet found in man. That is why we find in the Book of Hebrews among the infallible interpreters of God’s word. The book of Hebrews teaches that faith is found in the assurance of the blessedness of the Church.
The words of the Hebrews are true and reliable. The infallible interpreter of God’s word, which is the infallible authority on matters of faith and morals, uses the very same words. He speaks of faith as something existing in the future. He speaks of a certain faith existing before the coming of Christ.
If we follow the teaching of the infallible teacher of the Church, we must also accept the idea that, in the future, there will be another election, another messiah, another recovery of God’s things. This restoration in the future will involve another killing of the deceased. The followers of the false teachers of the churches, the teachers of “heresy”, “paganism”, “apostasy”, “heretical Christianity” and “postmodernism” don’t see these facts.
We shouldn’t be bound by these false ideas but should boldly walk into the light of the future, knowing that God’s promises are true, for God is our witness. God is ever ready to rescue His people from their sin, and he’s also inclined to rescue those who are dying in error, even from their own fault (2 Peter 1:4). The good news is that God has put Christian believers in the redemptive ministry, even though they have denied his name, and have gone contrary to all that he preaches, for they understand that God is their Redeemer, although they know not what unholiness, and sin they’re covering up, but instead what is covering them (2 Peter 1:3–5).
Faith In Religion VS Faith In General
How many Christians do you know that honestly state they are Christians? Many Christians would tell you that you need to be a true believer in God in order to be a genuine Christian, right? Many Christians may also tell you that the Bible is infallible and that you can’t argue with this! Yet I don’t feel that those who claim to believe in the Bible are Christians, no more than Muslims who believe in the Koran, or Hindus who believe in the Vedas.
The Christian faith was a product of numerous religions socializing with each other over centuries. Some cultures developed their own particular religions and a few did not, but all of them contributed to what we know now as the Christian faith. Each of these cultures viewed their god as completely different from all others, yet all of them viewed Jesus as the one true religion. How many Christians are there really who are not totally dedicated to this one false faith?
One must look past the concrete reasons for being a Christian to discover the actual motivations behind our actions. The most commonly known defining characteristics of Christianity are ethical behaviors, the belief in God, and the faith itself. All these beliefs require an interpretative phenomenological analysis to make sense of what it means. You can learn how to test your own religious behavior, but you can not learn how to interpret the behavior of countless others if you do not first understand how to translate your own! So just how many Christians are there who are secretly hiding a mental disorder and acting on it out of fear or anger?
Some may say that there are no Christian scholars and that there is no need for such research because Christians do not need such help. However, psychologists are starting to understand that people outside the Christian culture are also having similar problems. This is the reason Christian counseling has started to develop classes for these individuals as well. So just how many Christians are there who need psychological assistance to find out how they can overcome a few of the problems which are holding them back!
Christian psychologists have realized that many of the problems facing our society today are deeply rooted in psychology. Psychologists have proven that a number of our social issues including domestic violence, poverty and hearing voices are as a result of a stressed out distorted self-image, conflicting beliefs and a lack of confidence. By developing classes for other Christian individuals, psychologists have realized that we will need to have a more positive way of getting help and the first step is to help oneself.

Faith gives you hope and gives you a better health perspective and when you’ve got a religious perspective, you are more likely to find solutions to any problems that you might come across. It enables you to deal with problems at work or in your private life in a better way due to the spiritual underpinnings of your religion.
Feel a sense of community rather than empty or alone in the world. Many people who follow different religions find it difficult to belong to a particular group. But when you have a faith, you know that you’re part of something bigger than yourself. The feeling of being part of a group or church that makes you belong is something that other people don’t have as readily.
Among the disadvantages of having religion are that there’s usually a hierarchy in nature concerning religion. People of the same faith tend to be looked up to or highly of spoken of. This may lead to jealousy among some members. On the contrary, it also contributes to a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among all believers.
There is also the sense of purpose that comes from believing in a higher power. In a study of college students, among the factors that helped them in life satisfaction was their belief in God. Being spiritual in character also boosts your self-esteem and makes you a more loyal person. This is why, for many Christians, being religious is quite important and can contribute greatly to helping others.
To highlight on the third major key point listed above — Christian faith is finding purpose in life. This is particularly critical for the reformed church, as many of the folks in this denomination left to form other denominations to look for meaning in their everyday lives. The element in this reformation of religion is to find the purpose in work. A good deal of Christians find this to be the most important and sometimes tough element of their religion.
There are other religions, such as Unitarian, Humanist, and unaffiliated ones. Each has their own particular methods of looking at religion. Getting your own religion makes you a person with your own set of practices and beliefs. It does not matter what basis of philosophies or faith you believe in, so long as you are dedicated to what your community and or church is teaching.
Getting your own faith brings a deeper meaning to your religious practices. If you feel closer to God and you know he’s real then you’ll see things differently. When you have your own faith, you will also have a stronger commitment to following His teachings. Being spiritual is very important and faith brings that spiritual element to your life. This is important to recovery and bringing healing to others.
The degree of commitment to wellness that you wouldn’t normally associate with a religious or religious background is often brought abundantly by people that are spiritual and often practice spiritual health care. It may be in the shape of a religious community, a group or even an individual practicing spiritual health. Religion derived recovery brings a commitment to a more complete approach to health.
Healing is about trust. When you trust God, you give yourself completely to Him. When you are not totally positive if you can trust Him then you cannot heal from the heart to the mind. You must learn to place your complete trust and give your complete trust to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the other believers too. These three entities are God, the church and the believers or followers of Christ. When these entities are in total agreement in moral and religious harmonious matters it will give you a solid foundation for complete recovery.
A positive byproduct caused by the path to better Christian health outcomes and faith have commonly been that they are proactive. Many Christians put a strong focus on following Jesus and staying in touch with Him. It is not uncommon to see several people holding signs or creating billboards that offer daily reminders of Jesus and the requirement to follow him. The Christian religion can be quite busy and people want to follow this sort of lifestyle for the benefits mentioned here and so many more.
Lastly, for those that practice the Christian religion that it is based upon a personal relationship with Jesus Christ means that people who follow His teachings acknowledge his name, publicly discuss His gospel, share His prayers and go about their lives in a constant pursuit of Him. As long as you’re prepared to make a personal commitment to Jesus and share your life with Him then you’ll have a opportunity to experience the powerful effects of his love, faith and the deepest comprehension of passion.
